Details

Browning Medalist semi-automatic target pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, serial number 55731T73, manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale Herstal; the "T73" serial suffix indicates 1973 production. The Medalist was Browning's top-of-the-line .22 match pistol, built with a long ventilated-rib barrel, adjustable target sights and a gold-colored trigger. The slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL / MADE IN BELGIUM" on the left and "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE. 22 L.R." on the right, with the serial number on the barrel.

This example is in very good condition, with a deep blued finish and handsome checkered walnut target grips. A high-quality Belgian-made competition .22 that is equally enjoyable at the range or in a Browning collection.
