"dot" 1943 German Mauser K98k bolt-action rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92×57mm), configured as a clone of the rare late-war "swept-back" ZF4/KZF sniper. The rifle itself is an authentic wartime Mauser: the "dot" code identifies production by Waffenwerke Brünn (Brno) in 1943, it appears to be a Russian-capture example, and its Wehrmacht eagle (Waffenamt) stamps remain fully intact. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the rifle is mechanically solid. It is fitted with a swept-back-style side mount and a "dow"-marked ZF K43 (ZF4) scope, and features the turned-down/swept-back bolt handle of the configuration.

The original "swept-back" ZF4 mount was the last type of sniper mount the Germans developed, in 1944 — a war-expedient, rigid side-rail-style base that positioned the ZF4 (the simplified optic also used on the G43/K43) slightly rearward to preserve the sight picture and cheek weld on the standard K98k stock. Produced at the very end of the war and issued in tiny numbers, genuine examples are exceedingly rare and valuable. This rifle is a faithful clone/reproduction of that sought-after setup, built on a genuine dot 1943 K98k — it is offered as a tribute/clone, not as an original factory sniper rifle. With its authentic wartime receiver, intact eagle markings, bright sharp-rifled bore, and correct swept-back ZF K43 presentation, it delivers the look and feel of one of the rarest German sniper configurations at a fraction of an original's cost.
