Details

Norwegian Kongsberg M/1914 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP (11.25mm), serial number 3745, dated 1923. The M/1914 is Norway's licensed version of the Colt 1911, produced at the Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk state arsenal and easily recognized by its distinctive extended slide stop. The left side of the slide is marked "11.25m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914" with the Norwegian royal crest and "No 3745," and the right side of the slide carries the "1923" date.

The serial number 3745 is stamped on the slide, frame, slide stop and several other components. The pistol is in very good condition with checkered wood grips and its lanyard loop. A classic Scandinavian 1911-pattern service pistol and a desirable addition to any Colt or military handgun collection.
