Details

Finnish M/27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62×54R, fitted with a 1934-dated, "D"-marked Tikkakoski (Tikka) barrel. The rifle is Finn matching and in excellent condition, with a mirror bore. It comes with a cleaning rod.

The M/27 was Finland's first indigenous modification of the Mosin-Nagant, shortening and improving the design for Finnish service and setting the pattern for the later M/28, M/28-30, and M/39 rifles. The "D" barrel marking indicates the chamber throat was reamed to accept the Finnish D166 heavy ball cartridge (.310"). A Finn-matching M/27 in excellent condition with a bright mirror bore is a desirable and historically foundational Finnish rifle, appealing to both Finnish military collectors and vintage Mosin shooters. This 1934 Tikkakoski example presents cleanly with its cleaning rod included.
